And just because today was your birthday, I did not only 1 but 2 different blogs last night

(he stays on me for being a blogging slacker as of lately...i will try to do better!)

We went to the lake with Dad & Christy on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We had a great time. The water was FREEZING, but luckily Poppy was willing to do all the kid catching off the boat... Too cold for this chick...& most everyone else for that matter!!

Mommy's Beauty Shop...

A couple of weeks ago, I temporarily lost my mind & decided to cut Dylan's hair...MYSELF!

This isn't even half of it!!

Her hair was soooo long & although I had recently had it cut, I wanted it shorter ( & straighter). Her hair was very uneven after the last haircut, but with her curls, you really couldn't tell unless it was wet. Knowing this, I felt more courageous.

Dylan was so excited to come to "Mommy's Beauty Shop" aka the bathroom. She sat very still & acted like a little lady....for the first 20 minutes!! It took me forever. I kept trying to get it straight which made it shorter...& shorter...& shorter. About 3 inches later, I got to my stopping point. Although it's FAR from perfect, I think it looks pretty cute....& it's much less tangley (is that a word??) :)

I will say that a lot of the curl went away, but I still don't regret it!
